Oh boy, do I have a story for ya! It all began on a breezy afternoon in Amsterdam. You know, that city famous for its canals, bicycles, and, ahem, cough coffee shops. Well, let me tell ya, my dear friends, my understanding of a "coffee shop" got a hilarious makeover that day. 😂
A Brew of Confusion
So there I was, jet-lagged and in desperate need of a caffeine fix. I strolled down the charming cobblestone streets, my eyes peeled for a cozy spot to sip on some java and soak in the local culture. I spotted a sign that read "Coffee Shop" and thought, "Bingo!" Little did I know, I was about to walk into a cloud of smoke thicker than San Francisco fog.
The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a haze of smoke and a scent that was definitely not roasted coffee beans. I paused, blinked a couple of times, and thought, "Well, this is certainly a unique blend!" Turns out, in Amsterdam, a coffee shop isn't quite the place to get your espresso fix but rather, a spot to indulge in the city's famous greenery. 😅
